Delete your Seabearing account

In the app

Menu › Account › Delete account, then confirm. The app signs you out when it is done.

Without the app

Write to us from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. You do not need the app installed. We delete the account and its data and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

The account and sign-in, your profile (display name, boat name, bio), your synced marks, routes and tracks, your problem reports and screenshots, your uploaded instrument and alarm logs, your crew and flotilla memberships, and boat positions and tracks that belonged only to your account. If you own a flotilla, ownership passes to another boat captain in it when one remains; otherwise the flotilla is disbanded.

What is not deleted

Charts, marks, routes and tracks already on your devices stay on them until you clear the app's data or uninstall. A shared boat's current position and shared track stay on the server when another account is still crewed on that boat.
